The U.S.N.S.T.A. will be hosting the Tactical Handgun Instructor Course on September 15th, 2008  held at the

Adrenalin Proving Grounds LLC in Greenville TX. This 5 day course costs $600 per student.

One of the most important aspects of being an officer has to be weapon retention. It is a recurring nightmare for many officers – the realization that their own handgun can be used against them, or other citizens. Approximately 14 % of the police officers in the USA who are killed in the line of duty are shot with their own weapon. Keeping our weapon secured and not allowing it to be taken away has to be a high priority for every officer when they go on duty. The same concerns are present when an officer goes off duty.
